Bio

It's no small feat for individuals and couples (particularly Christians), to find an appropriately qualified counsellor who also understands that faith is an important aspect of their lives. If you're seeking support with any of the following please feel free to message me (link above) with any questions, you might have, to see if I am the right counsellor to help.

It may help to know that I am:

A Catholic man, husband and father of nine.

Director of the Centre for Life, Marriage and Family, an agency of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Perth.

A sessional lecturer in the Discipline of Counselling at the University of Notre Dame Australia specialising in grief and loss, childhood sexual abuse, anger management, anxiety, depression, professional and personal growth, and couple and family therapy; and

A Level 4 practitioner with the Australian Counselling Association.

For Christian married couples their relationship is a life-long commitment, a sacrament and a vocation and it can be hard to find a counsellor who understands and supports them in a way which respects the dignity of what this commitment means to them. I have many years of experience working with couples in this context and would be happy to help.
